MusiCards can be read by any smartphone and usually requires no special app.
An instruction graphic can be printed on the back of the card.
Most modern Smartphones support the tap to play function via Near Field Communication (NFC). In case NFC is not available or would need a special app, it is always possible to scan the QR code.
MusiCards supports most streaming services and has been tested with Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Google Play Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Tidal, Qobuz and Napster. It also works with other cloud content types like YouTube videos, recipes or games.
Yes, it is possible to stream to your home stereo through Spotify Connect, AirPlay, Chromecast and Bluetooth.
You can also expect a special MusiCards Player device for your home soon.
If you link to content on Spotify, Apple Music or any other streaming service, you don’t need to worry about Copyrights. If you upload exclusive content directly to out platform you need to confirm you have the rights to use that content.
MusiCards can be read on any type of smartphone.
Due to restrictions by Apple, on iPhone 7, 8 and X, the easy NFC tapping feature of the MusiCards can only be used with the MusiCards app. On the iPhone XS and XR, the tapping feature works after unlocking your phone without the need for an app.
Alternatively, all iPhones and iPads can also read the QR code on the MusiCards backside with the standard camera app of iOS 11 and up (eg iPhone 5s, 6 and SE).
The content of the MusiCards can be changed as you wish, even after the cards were produced and given away. Just contact us and we will do it for you!
